welcome to the results of the

2020 state of handmade survey

Our goal was to collect as much data as we could about the state of the handmade industry – from how many hours people were working, to what platforms they were selling on, how much they were making, and much, much more.

We ran the survey from late December 2019 to February 14, 2020.

We had a total of 1,827 respondents from many countries – predominently the USA, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Huge thanks to ALL of you who not only participated, but also shared the survey with your communities – we couldn’t have done this without your help!

Here are the results.

We will be cross-examining and discussing the results of the survey on our podcast over the coming months. Listen to all our current and past episodes here.
